Kinja'd!!!

Finally got my ski racks mounted. I designed the crossbar mount so they could be bolted to the bed cleats. My buddy that has a welder and materials fabbed the parts and welded them for me.

Now when I have to drive to go out in the backcountry, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! 's ski's won't get all dinged up bouncing in the bed of my Taco. Now if it would only snow...

Looks great, did you use rubber hose or pvc to fit the bar? Also you might want to consider re-writing that to sound less like we are gay lovers

I used some poly pipe I had left over from sprinkler system. It's too hard and slick so it stops on the cross bar. Some rubber hose will be the next experimental materiel.

The re-write is better. Too much pipe and hose and such...its a minefield of double entendre

Rather than too hard I should have said "Shore A durometer results were higher than desired"

Ski racks add sexy factor, depending on the car of course
